Ever wonder what the Top 10 most desirable cars are in Canada? Well, wait no more as we've compiled a comprehensive wish list of the most sought after vehicles in each province across the country and it's all based on the Top 10 cars and trucks Canadian consumers search for online.

According to search statistics from Auto Trader, perennial favourites and best-sellers continue to be highly desirable among Canadian car buyers, as the Ford F-150 earned most searched vehicle in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario, while the Honda Civic took top spot in Quebec and throughout the Maritimes.

Surprisingly, several sportscars proved to be more popular than we'd thought, placing the Ford Mustang (which led the pack for searches of cars priced greater than $20,000) followed by the Porsche 911 (topping searches over $50,000) fairly high up on the list. While we might see a few of the cheapest cars to own in Canada make the list, strangely honourable mention must go out to the BMW X6 and Lamborghini Gallardo, as two other surprise vehicles that nearly landed on the list.
